Rewa as an alternative to Loyalz
What Loyalz is and what it does well
Loyalz (loyalzclub.com) is an Argentine loyalty platform founded in 2023, with Mexico and Argentina as its main markets. Its site says more than a thousand locations in 13 countries use it, including specialty coffee shops and chains such as Sede Café. The customer scans a QR code in the store, fills in a form and saves the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet without downloading an app. Staff scan it from a web page or look the customer up by name, email or phone.
Its strength is breadth. It offers stamps, cashback, gift cards with a preloaded balance, memberships, discounts and coupons, and on the higher plans a store can run several mechanics at once. It adds segmented and automated push notifications, location-based notifications, a referral program and connections to other systems through an API, webhooks or Zapier.
Rewa starts from the same idea: the card lives in the phone's wallet. The two products differ in how much they cover and in what each plan includes.
When to choose Loyalz
If you want more than one mechanic at a time (say, stamps for coffee and a gift card to give away), cashback or memberships, Loyalz has them and Rewa does not. It is also the better fit if the program has to talk to your POS or CRM: Loyalz offers an API, webhooks and Zapier, and Rewa has no integrations today. And if you want a platform with many stores running and known chains as references, Loyalz has that track record. Rewa is newer.
When to choose Rewa
Rewa does fewer things on purpose. Each store picks one mechanic and sets it up in five screens: a stamp card, with up to three smaller rewards along the way, or points the customer redeems from a rewards menu you build (a free item, a percentage off with a cap, or a fixed amount off). The dashboard shows what the rewards you handed out cost, and stamps or points expire on the schedule you choose.
According to press coverage, reviews are a separate module in Loyalz. In Rewa the Google review request comes with both plans: it goes once to each repeat customer, at the visit you choose, without asking first how their experience was (filtering reviews breaks Google's policy). And every stamp or points change notifies the customer on their phone's lock screen.
Basic covers one location and Pro up to three, both with unlimited customers. If your store is in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia or Canada, the card, the passes and the notifications are in English.

Frequently asked questions
How are Loyalz and Rewa alike?
In the core. Both put the store's card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the customer signs up with a QR code at the counter without installing anything, and staff scan the card from a phone or find the customer by phone number. Loyalz offers more mechanics and integrations. Rewa runs one mechanic per store and keeps the cost of rewards and the review request in plain view.
Can I move my customers from Loyalz to Rewa?
Balances do not move on their own, because each platform keeps its own. You put the Rewa QR code on the counter and each customer signs up once with their email. If you want to honor what they earned on the old card, the owner or an admin loads the balance from the customer's profile, with the reason on record. From then on the history stays with your store and can be exported.
Why does Rewa run one mechanic per store?
Every extra mechanic is one more thing the cashier explains while the line waits and the customer has to understand. With a stamp card or a points menu, the customer knows what is left for the reward and you know what each reward costs. If you change your mind, you switch from stamps to points and the rewards from the old mechanic carry over to the new one.
