rewa as an alternative to Leal

An honest comparison: we also tell you when Leal is the better choice.

What Leal is and what it does well

Leal is the largest loyalty platform in the Spanish-speaking segment: born in Colombia, it operates in several countries in the region and raised funding from international investors. It has two faces: a consumer app where users earn coins and rewards across the network's member stores, and a business suite (Leal 360) with CRM, segmentation and marketing campaigns. It works with big brands and chains, and that scale is real: it is not a toy competitor.

The core difference with rewa is not size but model: in Leal your program lives inside a multi-store network with its own app; in rewa the program belongs to your store, and your customer installs nothing.

When to choose Leal

If you run a chain or a brand with several locations, have a marketing budget and want automated campaigns plus the storefront of an existing user base, Leal plays in that league and plays it well. Its campaign and segmentation suite is far deeper than rewa's today.

When to choose rewa

If your store is independent, the equation changes. In a multi-store network your customers become users of the network's app, where your program lives next to other stores' programs; the relationship runs through that app and its rules. In rewa the program is yours: your customers, their history and their points exist for your store, and the customer participates by saying their ID at checkout, with nothing to download.

The second difference is cost control. rewa rewards spend with points that define a level (not money you owe), protects your margin with a per-use cap, a frequency and expiration, and shows you the program's expected cost with your numbers before you activate it. For a store without a marketing team, that predictability is the difference between a program that pays for itself and a surprise at the end of the month.

Frequently asked questions

Does Leal's network bring me new customers?

That is its strongest promise, and for brands with presence in the network it can work. The trade-off is that the relationship with those customers runs through the network's app, where your program lives next to other stores' programs. rewa has no network to get you discovered: its job is to make the customers who already buy from you come back more often, and to make that relationship yours.

Can I switch from Leal to rewa?

Network coins do not transfer: they belong to Leal's ecosystem, not to your store. What does migrate fast is your operation: the catalog loads from a photo or a spreadsheet, your customers enroll as they pass through checkout with their ID, and from there the history is yours and exportable.

Why doesn't rewa have a customer app?

It is a design decision, not a gap: every step you ask of the customer (download, register, open the app in line) filters out real people, and filters hardest the ones who use apps least. An ID is spoken from memory and requires nothing. If your customers live in apps and you want the network experience, Leal is the opposite and legitimate bet.
