rewa as an alternative to Lealify
What Lealify is and what it does well
Lealify is a Mexican digital loyalty platform that works over WhatsApp: the customer registers with their phone number, with no apps to download or cards to carry, and the merchant picks one of two mechanics, points per visit or cashback. It adds a self-service kiosk for registration and automatic WhatsApp birthday greetings in its PRO plan.
The underlying bet is similar to rewa's: remove friction for the customer at the counter. Where the two products part ways is in what gets rewarded and in how the merchant's margin is protected.
When to choose Lealify
If your priority is the WhatsApp channel (automatic birthday greetings, win-back messages to inactive customers) and a simple visits-or-cashback mechanic is enough, Lealify does that job well today. rewa records birthdays and phone numbers, but does not send messages yet.
When to choose rewa
Lealify's two mechanics inherit known limits. Points per visit treat the customer who spent little and the one who spent a lot the same, like the punch card. And cashback turns points into money you owe, a balance that grows like debt and gives margin away in thin-margin businesses.
rewa rewards the spend: buy more, earn more points, reach a better level and a better benefit. Levels create status (Starter, Frequent, VIP), each benefit has a per-use cap and a frequency so the worst month is a known number, points expire so the base stays alive, and smart rewards deliver a product chosen from the customer's history that costs you less than the discount it replaces. The assistant calculates the whole program from your real margin.

Frequently asked questions
Isn't a WhatsApp number as easy as an ID?
It is just as easy to remember, and the difference is elsewhere: an ID does not open a messaging channel. Some customers prefer earning points without getting WhatsApp messages from every store they buy from; with rewa, sharing a phone number is optional and serves whatever you decide later.
Will rewa send birthday messages like Lealify?
It is on the roadmap (that is why the register already records birthdays and phone numbers), but it does not exist today and we will not tell you otherwise. If automatic messages are your main reason to build the program, Lealify solves that today.
Cashback or points with levels: which one is better?
Cashback is easy to communicate and hard to stop: it is money you owe, with no natural cap, and in a thin-margin business it can eat the profit of a good month. Points with levels turn the same budget into status and into a benefit with a cap and a frequency. The math per business type is in the loyalty guides.
